Cook/caterer

Cornerstone urgently needs a long term cook/caterer, able to cook five days a week for the college community (approx. 80 people) and oversee the catering. Do you feel this may be God's task for you? Being a caterer at an international college means you must be able to do more than just cook. You will be working with teams of students and volunteers and you need to be able to communicate well in English. As a full staff member, you will also become part of other college activities. The college does not pay a salary. All staff are mission workers, supported by their churches and through personal gifts.

Would you like to give one year to the work of Cornerstone? As we do not have a long term cook/caterer at the moment, we are urgently looking for a volunteer to cook five days a week for the college community (approx. 80 people) and oversee the catering.

Assistant cook

Would you like to give one year to the work of Cornerstone? With 80 people living on the campus of Cornerstone, it is quite a job to organise and do the cooking. For the coming year, we are looking for someone to help our cook. Besides your help in the kitchen, you will probably also be involved in some of the other practical jobs that need to be done in the college.

Household assistant

Would you like to give one year to the work of Cornerstone? With 80 people living on the campus of Cornerstone, there are many practical jobs that need doing. For the coming year, we are looking for someone to help look after the many guests that stay at Cornerstones. Beds need to be made, welcome cards be made ready. Beside the household tasks, you will probably also be involved in some of the other practical jobs that need to be done in the college.

Child care

Would you like to give one year to the work of Cornerstone? Every year, we have students come from different countries to study at Cornerstone. Some of our students have children younger than 4 years old. To make it possible for the parents to study, Cornerstone runs a daytime childcare centre. For the coming year, we are looking for someone to help in our child care centre. Beside this work, you may also be involved in some of the other practical jobs that need to be done in the college.

Maintenance

Would you like to give one year to the work of Cornerstone? Cornerstone is based in a beautiful former cloister in a small village in the Netherlands. The oldest part of the building dates from 1895 and the grounds include a garden, orchard, children's playground, a volleyball field and a small football pitch. This means that there is always lots of maintenance work to be done. For the coming year, we are looking for someone to help with the daily repairs in and around the college.
