Accreditation

Cornerstone is committed to offering quality training. We are a member of the European Evangelical Accreditation Association (EEAA). We offer a one year course: Certificate in Intercultural Studies, and a two year course: Diploma in Intercultural Studies. Both of these courses are recognised and accredited by the the EEAA. Our accreditation guarantees a constant scrutiny, updating and improvement of our teaching and training.

Because Cornerstone is not an Academic University nor a University of Applied Sciences (HBO), our Certificate or Diploma do not have a legal status in The Netherlands. However, on the basis of our accreditation by the EEAA, we have been entered into the registry for institutions of Higher Education in the Netherlands. This means that we are committed to the Dutch Code of Conduct International Student Higher Education, and have permission to receive international students

So despite the fact that our certificate and diploma do not have a legal status in the Netherlands, we are registered as an institution of higher education in the Netherlands on the official government endorsed website: www.internationalstudy.nl.

Our system of crediting our courses is in line with the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS). If you want to pursue further studies after Cornerstone, you will have to contact the educational establishment to negotiate what credit they will give for your studies at Cornerstone. From our experience it will depend on your previous qualifications and the kind of course that you wish to pursue how many of the Cornerstone credits will be accepted into your further study programme.
