The theology modules in the first year of study are designed to give potential cross-cultural workers and church planters a basic understanding of the Christian doctrines which are the fundamentals of orthodox belief and practice, held by all true Christian churches. An understanding of these truths is essential to be able to discern the errors in other belief systems, and to be able to communicate truth to those holding these other positions.
Module 2 looks at the doctrine of Creation with specific emphasis on the biblical view of the nature of humanity. What is the meaning of humanity being made "in the image of God" ?
What is the biblical definition of the origin and the effects of sin ?
