The theology modules in the first year of study are designed to give potential cross-cultural workers and church planters a basic understanding of the Christian doctrines which are the fundamentals of orthodox belief and practice, held by all true Christian churches. An understanding of these truths is essential to be able to discern the errors in other belief systems, and to be able to communicate truth to those holding these other positions.
The first module is foundational and introduces the biblical revelation of the Being of God, his attributes and names. It gives the student an understanding of how God has revealed himself (general and special revelation), and shows how the Bible is the inspired revelation of God.
