No sooner had the course on Psalms finished or the following appeared on the student bulletin board:

How long, O LORD? Will you forget me forever?

How long will I have to follow the schedule from Cornerstone?

How long must I clean the many parts of the building

And have sorrow in my heart PRAC after PRAC?

How long shall my teachers oppress me with so many assignments?

Deliver me from the cold and gloomy library,

Protect me from those who attack me with yellow sheets of paper.

Deliver me from my snoring roommates,

And save me from all the noisy people who surround me.

Consider and answer me, O LORD my God;

I grow weary because of work and community life.

But I have trust in your steadfast love;

My heart shall rejoice in your salvation.

I will sing to the LORD,

Because he has dealt bountifully with me.

Praise the Lord!

Cornerstone, praise the Lord!

For it is good to sing praises to our God;

For it is pleasant, and a song of praise is fitting.

The Lord builds us up;

He gathers students from all nations.

He gives them time, health and money,

So that they can study his Word.

The Lord is our Creator and Provider.

He gives us new strength every morning,

He teaches us to serve Him in many ways.

He knows that we are weak,

Therefore He gives mentors, teachers, structure and books to support our will.

The LORD knows our limits,

Therefore he sends his children to help his other children.

Our stomachs delight with good food every day,

Our children are well taken care of,

We do not worry when IT problems arise,

Neither do we fear for the house to collapse,

For we are blessed by a cloud of volunteers.

The Lord is good.

His goodness endures forever.

Praise the LORD!

Cornerstone, praise the LORD!
