Joyce has worked at various institutions as a professional cook. In 2007, she joined Doulos (OM Ships International) for two and a half years. During her time on board as the chief cook, she visited many different countries and collaborated with cross-cultural teams.
After returning from her time on the ship, Joyce joined Cornerstone as a cook and household/kitchen manager. From 2020 until 2025, Joyce went back to work professionally as a cook in an elderly home. Then she felt a renewed desire to be part of the Cornerstone staff. She is serving happily in various roles in the Cornerstone team.
